Yesterday I rode a bicycle to Grace's grandmother's house to learn how to make dumplings. Riding a bicycle in China required a lot of focus because I had to watch for pedestrians, other bicyclists, and cars because no one stops for other people or looks before they start to move.
I surprised everyone while making dumplings because I picked it up so fast. The dumplings had pork and vegetables inside. You had to put the stuffing on a rolled out piece of dough and fold and pinch it closed. The dumplings were then boiled for a couple of minutes and served with vinegar.
For dinner, Grace took me to Pizza Hut because she remembered that I work at a pizza place. Pizza Hut in China had lots of different things: soup, rice, noodles, and more. Also, you could not pick what you wanted on your pizza. You could only choose from specialty items. It still was good though!
